The Side That Guides Your Practice

You didn’t start your practice to become a marketing expert, accountant, or systems strategist—you started it because you care deeply about helping people heal.

….But somewhere along the way, you discovered that running a private practice means juggling far more than your clinical work. And sometimes, all those voices—inside and outside—start to feel loud and conflicting.

Welcome to Parts of Practice—a home for therapists who are ready to lead their businesses from Self, not stress.

Here, you’ll map the voices inside your system—the visionary, the overworker, the money protector, the visibility-shy part—and learn how to let them collaborate instead of compete. You’ll find practical tools to help connect, offer and build an online presence that reflect all parts of you.

I’m Stephanie Brashear, LMHC, LPCC-S. I opened my private practice while completing IFS Level 1 and quickly learned how loud my own inner business parts can be. Some wanted a precise schedule and income. Others worried about being seen or feared raising rates. Parts work helped me build a practice that honors every voice—and trust myself to lead.

Now I’m building Parts of Practice (with my dad—hi, Dad!) so you have thoughtful, non–cookie-cutter support to build your private practice so that you can focus on the parts of practice that actually feel good.

This isn’t a copy-paste business model or productivity bootcamp. It’s a kinder way to market your clinical work in a way that fits you, because it includes all of you.

My approach isn’t one-size-fits-all business advice. It’s about helping your internal system collaborate, so you can make decisions with clarity and confidence. I love supporting therapists to map their parts, uncover insights, and connect with tools and resources that truly support them.

Not sure where to start?

Two Sides, One Purpose

In a free consult, we’ll explore the different parts of your website — the parts ready to grow, the parts that feel stuck, and the parts needing clarity — so we can build a site that truly supports your practice.

The Side That Powers Your Practice

You didn’t start your practice to become a marketing expert, accountant, or systems strategist—you started it because you care deeply about helping people heal.

Have you ever wanted a website but had no idea where to start? Maybe you’ve tried setting up an email list, launching a course, or marketing your practice—only to hit a wall with the tech, the tools, or just not knowing what to focus on first.

You’re not alone.

A lot of therapists feel overwhelmed by the digital side of things. That’s where I come in.

Richard Brashear Co-founder Parts of Practice Therapy Web Design and SEO Services

I’m Richard Brashear, a digital strategist with 30+ years of experience helping people grow online in a way that actually feels doable. I’ve worked as a CMO, led marketing for startups and growing brands, and built systems that turn big ideas into real, working businesses. My strength is taking what feels complex or chaotic and helping you turn it into something simple, clear, and aligned with your goals.

Here at Parts of Practice, I focus on the digital strategy side—helping therapists build websites, set up online courses, create email systems, and get found by the right people. Whether you’re just getting started or trying to level up, I’m here to make the tech stuff feel a whole lot less stressful.

At the end of the day, I’m not here to push tactics—I’m here to support what you want to build. I believe good marketing can be thoughtful, human, and even healing when done with intention. It’s not about flashy funnels or fake urgency—it’s about connection, clarity, and growing your practice your way.

So if you’ve been stuck trying to figure all this out alone—don’t.

You already have the expertise. Let’s bring it to life, together.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Parts of Practice for?

Parts of Practice is for therapists building a private practice who want their website, visibility, and business decisions to feel more grounded and more aligned. Many of our clients use parts language (IFS-informed or parts-aware), but you don’t have to be “all in” to belong here.

Can you help me build or improve my website?

Absolutely. Whether you need a full website build or improvements to what you already have, we’ll help you create a digital home that feels calm, clear, and professional—so the right clients feel safer reaching out.

Do you help with marketing?

Yes—gently and ethically. We help you get found without forcing you into a voice that doesn’t fit. That can look like messaging, specialty pages (EMDR, IFS, trauma, anxiety), Google visibility, and simple outreach that feels authentic.

How do I get started?

Start by reaching out through our contact form. We’ll ask a few simple questions, learn what you’re looking for, and suggest the best next step—whether that’s a quick consult, a starter resource, or a done-for-you service.
